I’m a wine business leader, investor, speaker, and lyricist.

Born in the UK, I’ve lived around the world, and now California is home. I’ve made bold life choices, taken globe-trotting leaps, and through every detour and wild road, trusted my intuition. There’s a throughline of creativity, soulful expression, and my two favorite accomplices: Burgundy and Barolo.

Three decades in global business: I’ve led wine brands and businesses around the world, pioneered wine concepts, and taken a start-up wine estate to the Wine Spectator Top 100. Today, I’m Principal, Strategy at Activequity, advise wineries on business strategy through my company Wine Diamonds, and actively invest in wine, precious metals, energy, and AI.

As a speaker, I use the lens of wine to bring a different perspective to leadership and life. I offer a range of keynotes, including a bespoke “build your own” option, as well as keynotes with curated wine tastings, a natural fit for leadership retreats and business school alumni wine clubs.

I created Wine, Whisper & Song, a luxury live experience pairing inspiring stories with extraordinary wines and award-winning songs. Available at wineries and for fundraising and private events.

I’m an award-winning lyricist, named in the Great American Song Contest Hall of Fame.
